Grace Kelly


Grace Kelly is a notable character that graced the screen for many years, stopping to become a Princess.

Kelly was born in 1929 in Philadelphia and got onto Broadway for the first time in 1949. When Kelly was 22 years old she appeared in her first motion film, 'Fourteen Hours'. Kelly's motion film career continued, but her fame grew when she appeared for the first time in a Alfred Hitchcock's
film, 'Dial M for Murder', with 'Rear Window' following. Kelly then received an Academy Award for her work in 'The Country Girl', in 1954. After filming 'To Catch A Thief', Kelly produced her final film, 'High Society' in 1956. Grace Kelly was named twelfth greatest movie star of all time by Premiere Magazine.

In this time between 'To Catch A Thief' and 'High Society', Grace Kelly met and married Prince Rainier of Monaco. When becoming a Princess, Kelly finished as an actress and then gave birth to three children with Prince Rainier. At the age of 52, in 1982, Grace Kelly died in a nasty car accident.

Grace Kelly was notable through her amazing career in film and undoubtedly her incredible beauty. Kelly was in some amazing films and through becoming a Princess, allowed herself to continue to be within the media.
